I always read the Christmas story from the Bible to my son as well as 'The Night Before Christmas' and I am going to start doing that this year with my 2 year old grandson. Growing up, we always sang Happy Birthday to Jesus before we opened our presents.

We always read The Christmas Story of Joseph, Mary and of course, Babay Jesus. Sometimes straight from the Bible and others from Children's books that give the First account of Jesus' birth.
