Baby Bull Rider

I love watching the things that Honey does with Kiggster, they are so cute together!  I can see how much she enjoys being with Daddy and she’s totally got him wrapped around her tiny little fingers!  He takes her to the zoo, the garden, on walks to the park, lets her play with tupperware, unroll the toilet paper roll, pull out and apart all the tissue from the tissue box, unshelf all the CDs & DVDs from the TV stand…yup, Daddy’s the fun one!  I love hearing about all the things they’ve done when I come home at the end of the day ’cause I know it was time they enjoyed together!  Here’s one of those bonding times for Daddy & Kiggster…

She was skeptical at first when he put her on his shoulder but didn’t take her long to warm up to the idea of fun!

Why she decided to put her hand up in the arm, I have no idea but she decided that’s how it should be done!

Then she got all shy ’cause she noticed I had the camera pointed at her!

But only for a second because she was enjoying herself and started doing some crazy stuff!  She looks so cute, poor Honey though!

She has the funniest expressions on her face, I love it!  Our little bull rider!

Then she proceeded to switch hands and “wave” like she was saying bye!

I guess ’cause she really was saying Bye!  She was done and wanted out!  Our baby has got a mind of her own.  She wants what she wants when she wants it and she’s done when she’s done so you better be ready!

Kiggster has an early birthday party this weekend with family and we can’t wait until Saturday!  She’ll be missing swimming and unfortunately we had to cancel a trip with friends to make it.  But I have her outfit all picked out and I even made a headband for her too.  I put together a name frame that a friend made (hopefully after Saturday, I can post some pictures) for her and I will be bringing her birth story photo book.  I’m not sure I have enough time to get prints made of her 1st year but I’m gonna try though.

I never thought of myself as much of a DIYer but I always wanted to be.  It just took having a baby to kick start those rusty gears.  So far, I’ve been proud of the things I’ve made for her…and her friends.  I’ll post pics tomorrow of the headbands I made for Kiggster’s BFFs (they’re all turning 1 around the same time).  I also started on her Halloween costume and I can’t wait for it to get here already…she’ll be so cute, as usual of course!  Even having to clean her poop and encourage her to use the potty is cute to me so what can I say, I just love her!
