Gutzy Gear: Backpack Straps & Patches Review & Giveaway

I was given the chance to throw a Gutzy Gear party and though Kiggster is a bit on the young side (22 months), I wanted to have a party for those I knew that had school-aged kids and were heading back to school!  Everyone that came to the party was excited to pick out their patches and start decorating their backpack straps with them!  But before we show you that, let's find out what Gutzy Gear is all about:

Gutzy Gear is a great, new way to express yourself by customizing your backback, sports duffel, messenger bag, and more! Gutzies are cool looking removable patches. Gutzies stick to a Gutzy strap cover that you put wherever you want to go Gutzy! With 56 Gutzies in a series and new Gutzies constantly being introduced, you can collect and trade a world of Gutzies. But Gutzy Gear is even more… Gutzy Gear is a lifestyle! Gutzy Gear is about showing the world who you are, taking chances and being the best YOU you can be. So wherever you are, whenever it is, whatever the plan…

There are a wide range of "Gutzie" patches for girls, boys, and gender neutral ones too!  The patches are velcro but not just your regular velcro, these are very strong and stick on really well to the backpack straps so you dont have to worry about losing them.  The backpack straps are made with also a strong velcro but the material of the strap is nice and soft so it won't irritate their skin. These straps are great for school aged kids but from my party, we realized that even adults really like them!  I had several parents comment that they wished there were more patches for adults too because they saw a few they personally liked and would love to see more added to the series!  Then, to my surprise, Kiggster started choosing some Gutzies for herself too!

We had a couple of girls there that were so excited to try out their patches and they, of course, wanted to match exactly with each other!  Good thing there were enough sets for them and others at the party.

The kids at the party even found a new use for the Gutzies…branding their parents with them!  It reminded me of when I was young and we would put Post-It notes on each other's backs with silly messages!  Now we'll be seeing Gutzies instead of Post-Its!
