New Home in 2012

Ok, won’t be a posting about Kiggster but will be about Kangaroo Mama.  Some great news for me in 2012…Kangaroo Mama will have a new home next year at  Now all I have to do is transfer my blog over there, design and set up the website…should be easy right?!  Right!  I got 1 year of free web hosting so it kicked me into high-gear to purchase the domain name, which I’d been thinking about for awhile.  Over the holidays and probably in January, I will be working on transferring my blog over there, creating a game plan for consistent posts (may not be daily but consistent), coming up with a goal/theme/ideas for the blog, and maybe even working on starting a business.  Christmas hasn’t even passed yet and I’ve already got all these 2012 goals!  Anyone wanna lend me their artistic skills and design me a kick-butt Kangaroo Mama logo/website design pro bono?!  You will be paid in full through gratitude grams and if you’re local, you’ll be invited over for lotsa family dinners!

So if you’re waiting by the mail for our Christmas card, they will be late because I ordered them late…think of them as New Year’s cards with a holiday theme!  Just know you’re loved and they are coming, if I have your address!  I think 2012 will be my year to make lotsa changes to my life, blog, career, and our family and marriage!  I’m excited for the new year and hopefully you will too.

Got this inspirational quote from a new favorite blog: Money Saving Mom

Ok, I lied just to see if you were reading the whole post, I will post something about Kiggster!  Remember how I told you previously that Kiggster is totally saying, “Daddy” now?!  Well, she never does it on camera and she has a camera radar or something ’cause no matter how I try to hide it, she knows it’s on!  So it’s 3 1/2 minutes of you hearing me say, “Daddy” in this super annoying high-pitched voice but I promise you that I was merely copying Kiggster but in a less cute voice.  She was doing it all morning and I when I went to video tape her, she stopped…just to make me seem crazy!  Plus don’t mind the mess ’cause we were packing’ to go on our trip last week.  Oh and you know that bottle of lotion she was playing with in the video…well, thanks to her it never made it into the bag and I had dry skin throughout the trip!  Ok, nothing is ever her fault, I love her to death, my fault for not putting it away better out of her reach!  Oh and our DVD player, remember how it was broken, well, the day after, Honey said she “fixed” it by giving it a good whack but as of yesterday, it is broken again.  Oh wait, I just turned around and checked…it’s fixed again but this time, Honey fixed it “Kiggster-style!”  Oh the things we do in this house!

This may be the last post before Christmas so Merry Christmas and hope you all have a wonderful season filled with love, cheer, and giving!  Don’t forget what it is all about…
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Thanks so much for the love Wholesome Womanhood! I also visited your blog at the old and new home! Did you use the GoDaddy hosting or did you pay for another hosting service? Was transferring your blog to the new location pretty easy or will it be painful for someone who isn't very tech savvy?!

I found your blog via Blogelina's link up…

We just bought the domain name for our blog too. It was something we had been thinking and talking about for awhile and, with Blogelina's encouragement, decided to go for it! 🙂
