Willow Store: Organic Super Wipes Review & Giveaway

I was given the opportunity to review the Organic Super Wipes from Willow Store.  Oh, what a difference from our current stash of "wipes" that we have in our home!

So when I was pregnant with Kiggster, I wanted to try out cloth wipes and thought since we had a ton of new washcloths in our home, I could just use those instead of buying new or specialty wipes.  Boy was I wrong!  There's something about washcloths for a face of an adult and washcloths for those tender baby tushies and faces that just doesn't compare.  Those washcloths didn't make it through about a handful  of diaper changes and face washings before Honey decided they were too rough and sand paper-like to be used on his precious little daughter!  I had to agree with him and those washcloths became more of rags now.  But we ditched the whole cloth wipes idea after that.  Then 18 months later, I was offered a chance to review these Organic Super Wipes and wow, when I pulled them out of the shipping package…I couldn't stop stroking my face with them!  They are soft!!!  Below is a comparison of the washcloths on the left and the Super Wipes terry side on the right.  Notice how rough looking that the original washcloth looks next to the Super Wipe?!

There are 2 different sides to the wipes, which are made from organic cotton/hemp material and both sides are nice and soft.  The wipes measure 8" x 8" and are large enough to do tons of clean up with one wipe!  Here is what Willow Store says about the 2 different layers of their wipes:

Our Super Wipe earns its versatility with its two distinct layers: The terry side is perfect for those sticky messes, while the super-soft, plush side is gentle enough to rinse your newborn's smiling face. These two, distinct sides not only add versatility—but strength.

The left side is the plush and the right side is the terry both sides are really soft but the terry side still gets things cleaner than my previous sand paper-like washcloths! One example of hard to clean stuff are egg yolks, for some reason those just get caked on Kiggster's face, hands, fingers, and because she likes to play with her food, even between her toes!  Our previous stash of washcloths, despite having such roughness to it, still did not clean off all the egg remnants off her.  I decided to try the Super Wipes for one of our morning breakfasts and all the egg yolk wiped off completely from her face, hands, fingers, and even between her toes…all with just one wipe.  I tried both sides and they both cleaned her off just as well.  Below is a comparison of both sides of the Super Wipes with the plush side on top, terry side in the middle and the original washcloth on the bottom!

I haven't used the wipes for diaper changes yet since I have been using them so frequently for just mealtimes.  I need more wipes so I can have some for diaper changes and some for cleaning up after mealtimes.  I'm sure it will do great for diaper changes too since it's been working really well so far!
